You will design technical job programs and applications that align with customer objectives while maximizing business outcomes in line with contract requirements.\nAs an Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nEnsuring compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process\nWorking with Service Delivery Coordinators and Sales teams to understand customer well construction or production objectives and commercial terms\nPerforming offset job analysis and engineering modeling to identify application risks, hazards, and performance expectations\nDesigning job programs including risk mitigation and contingency plans to meet customer objectives and maximize value\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all technical and operational constraints are addressed\nProviding on-demand technical support during job execution, including participation in on-call schedules\nDocumenting calculations, simulations, and plan revisions for visibility and audit purposes\nComparing planned vs. executed jobs, capturing lessons learned, and driving continuous improvement\nSupporting field incident investigations, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions\nEnsuring timely incident management and customer issue resolution\nAdvising on product improvement opportunities based on recurring issues or failures\nSupporting sales teams with technical recommendations and application expertise\nParticipating in customer discussions on service delivery performance and KPI outcomes\nSupporting product line initiatives including cost reduction and performance improvement projects\nHandling special projects as required\n\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline\nBe able to demonstrate hands-on experience in Upstream Oil & Gas Chemicals, including production chemicals, stimulation chemicals, drilling/completion fluids, asset integrity, or related application.\nHave strong understanding of chemical treatment programs, field applications, troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical support\nHave experience with technical job planning, treatment execution, performance optimization, and commercial/P&L considerations\nBe able to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills\nHave strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation capabilities, with the ability to translate field results into actionable recommendations\nBe able to work effectively in a global matrix organization, collaborating with sales, operations, technology, and customer teams\nHave experience supporting field trials, product evaluations, and technical solutions development for upstream operators\nBe willing to travel to customer locations, field sites, and operational facilities as required\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.\nThis role is in general hours (8AM - 5PM)\nWorking for you\nOur inventions have revolutionized energy for over a century.
