Making it safer, cleaner and more efficient for people and the planet.\nPartner with the best\nAs a Lead Control Software Engineer, you will be responsible for application software development and testing for Turbo Machinery equipment (Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Electric motor driven compressor etc.) for Baker Hughes Turbomachinery & process solutions business. You'll be responsible for development, testing & site commissioning support for the assigned projects. Develop innovative software solutions towards energy transition.\nAs a Lead Engineer, you will also be responsible for:\n Developing & Testing of application software for Gas turbines, Steam Turbine for mechanical drive (compressor) & generator drive applications\nProficiency in testing techniques: test case design, execution, defect tracking, functional, regression, performance, and reliability testing in industrial automation\nExperience with system-level testing of PLC and control systems.\nKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies adapted to engineering projects.\nAdvanced coursework or certifications in Industrial Automation, PLC Programming, or SCADA systems is a plus.\nAbility to design and execute test cases for hardware-software integration. \nStrong understanding of PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).\nInterpreting of the P&ID & implementation of all the control loops/schemes\nLow fidelity simulation development to test the operative sequences.\nTranslating requirements / specifications into control logic/software and deliver projects within required timelines and with high quality standards.\nWorking with internal stakeholders & customers to ensure, unit control panel FAT/SAT is closed for the projects.\nWorking with cross-functional engineering teams to understand project requirements & deliver the projects in full compliance with requirements.\nProviding support to the site in successful commissioning of the machines within the SLA boundaries.\nStrong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).\nFuel your passion!\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a BE/BTech in Instrumentation & Controls/ Electrical/ Electronics & Communication Engineering.\nHave 8+ years of hands-on experience in the development of application software/control logic of gas turbine/Steam turbine unit control systems.\nHands-on experience in 1 or more control systems, such as GE Spectronic (Mark Vie), Siemens -S7 Platform, Triconex, Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc (RX3i, Rx7i), Woodward, CCC.\nHands-on experience in 1 or more SCADA packages - Simplicity / WinCC.\nHave exposure to acceptance test procedures (FAT/SAT), involving major Oil & Gas customers & EPC organizations.\nBe an excellent team player & work with the team in resolving the difficult situations that evolve during the project execution.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
