Your role combines engineering knowledge with commercial awareness to secure projects and build long-term customer relationships.\nAs a Customer Application Engineer, , you will be responsible for:\nCollaborating with customers to understand technical specifications and application requirements for tender submissions.\nInterpreting, create, review, and release engineering bill of materials, drawings, and specifications to support bid proposals.\nPreparing technical documentation, compliance statements, and application notes for tender packages.\nWorking closely with Project Management, Quality, Sourcing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure proposals are feasible and aligned with company capabilities.\nProviding technical input to commercial teams to develop bids that meet customer expectations and industry standards.\nConducting product presentations, demonstrations, and technical clarifications during pre-bid and post-bid discussions.\nMonitoring risks and proactively suggest improvements or corrective actions in tender strategies.\nEnsuring adherence to HSE & Quality policies, actively participating in related programs and training.\n Fuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHold a Bacherlors in mechanical engineering or a relevant technical discipline such as industrial design.\nHave at least 5 yr of experience in application engineering, project engineering, or customer-facing technical roles, with exposure to tendering and bid processes in subsea wellhead/subsea production system/surface wellhead.\nPossess good knowledge of engineering processes, quality standards, and industry regulations (e.g., API 6A, 17D, 5CT, 5L, NACE MR0175).\nBe skilled in interpreting engineering bill of materials, drawings, and technical specifications.\nDemonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) for engaging with clients and cross-functional teams during tender negotiations.\nHave proficiency in providing cost estimates and articulating value propositions\nShow a logical, structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making under time-sensitive bid conditions.\nExhibit a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and winning tenders.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
