Our engineering teams play a vital role in designing and delivering oilfield subsurface components, systems, and control equipment that enable reliable energy production worldwide.\nPartner with the best\nAs an Lead Mechanical Engineer , you will support the design and development of oilfield subsurface components, systems, and/or controls equipment.\nThis role provides a structured environment to develop your technical, professional, and safety competencies while supporting design, manufacturing, and verification activities.\nAs an Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nSupporting the creation of layouts, functional component specifications, stack-up evaluations, and assembly procedures\n\nInterpreting customer engineering specifications to produce layout, detail, and assembly designs\n\nAssisting with the creation of work packs, reviewing detail drawings, and supporting small engineering teams under supervision\n\nDeveloping conceptual design requirements and layouts following Design Process Management (DPM) protocols\n\nCreating detail, fabrication, and assembly drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards\n\nModifying and creating 3D models and drawings to manufacturing standards using parametric design practices\n\nSupporting manufacturing through application of design-for-manufacture principles for machining, welding, and assembly\n\nCreating Bills of Materials (BOMs) within documentation systems for engineer approval\n\nParticipating in design verification activities, including tolerance studies, manufacturability reviews, and basic calculations\n\nSupporting Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Prototype Verification Test (PVT) procedures and documenting results\n\nEnsuring design documentation and data are accurately archived in electronic document management systems\n\nIdentifying opportunities to improve existing products, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner\n\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave an Engineering Mechanical or a related engineering discipline\n\nHave Strong understanding of engineering design principles, verification processes, and risk assessment\n\nHave proven experience in Oil and Gas Industry.\n\nHave knowledge of materials, including metals, elastomers, welding, and heat treatment processes\n\nHave awareness of relevant industry standards and engineering codes\n\nBe conscientious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a structured engineering environment\n\nHave strong written and verbal communication skills\n\nBe able to work effectively within a team while responding professionally to changing work demands\n\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way people deliver their best work can vary.
