Our team designs and delivers integrated subsea systems that support safe, efficient, and sustainable exploration and production of hydrocarbons in challenging environments.\nPartner with the best\nThe Lead Structural Analysis Engineer, Manifold, Distribution and Connection, is responsible for design and development of products for the subsea oil fields distribution systems.\nAs a Lead Structural Analysis Engineer, Manifold, Distribution and Connection, you will be responsible for:\nEstablishing technical requirements based on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards. \nProvide structural basis of design, functional design specifications, pipe specifications, inputs to geotechnical discipline, support MTOs, for projects and programs. \nPerform, review or approve FE, Structural and piping preliminary and detailed analyses to assess, define or optimize designs. \nPrepare design reports and documentation to allow design progress. \nWorking cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables. \nCollaborating cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables. \nPresenting analyses outcomes in formal and informal meetings such as design reviews, customer meetings, etc. when and as relevant. \nBe accountable for cost out activities, budget monitoring and engineering plans progress. \nInterface with internal and external customers, capturing, managing and fulfilling customers’ requirements and addressing analyses and design accordingly. \nManaging engineering suppliers from a technical standpoint, providing guidance and granting compliance with applicable technical and contractual requirements. \nProviding engineering support to program management and any other stakeholders. \nSupporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products. \nProviding consultancy advice to the project ITO team. \nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a bachelor’s degree or M.Sc. in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. \nHave 5+ years’ experience as structural analysis engineer. \nHave Subsea equipment knowledge and relevant main design codes (e.g. API, ISO, ASME, DNV) and methodologies (desired). \nHave knowledge of offshore structures, including applicable design methodologies and relevant industry standards (e.g. DNV-ST-N001, DNV-ST-E273) (desired). \nHave robust knowledge of main structural international standards, (e.g. Eurocodes, ISO19901, API RP 2A) (desired). \nHave knowledge of piping stress analysis and relevant main international design standards (e.g. ASME B31.3, B31.8 ASME BPVC VIII etc.). \nHave robust knowledge of APDL, Ansys Mechanical. \nHave knowledge of Mathcad, MS Excel, Sesam Genie, Triflex or similar (e.g. Caesar II, SAP 2000, SACS, etc.) \nHave basic knowledge in 3D CAD modelling. \nHave good knowledge of MS Office suite. \nHave a robust structural and mechanical design background with proven experience in a similar role. \nBe proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility. \nHave robust analytical and problems solving skills. \nHave strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English. \nHave strong interpersonal and leadership skills. \nWorking independently and comfortably in a global multicultural environment. \nAvailability to travel as needed. \nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
