You will work closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance operational reporting, and support digitalisation projects that improve manufacturing performance.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you will:\nProviding engineering support to manufacturing and operational teams to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.\nInvestigating production issues and implementing solutions to minimise downtime and improve workflow performance.\nSupporting the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and best practices.\nLeading and supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.\nAnalysing production data, identifying trends and bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions to improve performance.\nManaging Work in Progress (WIP) visibility and supporting production planning activities.\nDeveloping and maintaining Power BI dashboards, automated reports, and operational performance metrics.\nSupporting manufacturing digitalisation projects through Power Automate, Excel VBA, and process automation solutions.\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.\nHave experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, oil and gas, or production environment.\nHave strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and production support activities.\nHave experience driving continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.\nHave proven experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.\nHave advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.\nHave hands-on experience developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.\nHave experience managing and analysing manufacturing data and operational KPIs.\nHave knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing process controls.\nHave strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.\nDesired Characteristics\nExperience with Microsoft Power Automate and workflow automation tools.\nExperience creating VBA macros and automated reporting solutions.\nLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.\nExperience supporting manufacturing digitalisation and operational excellence projects.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar manufacturing systems.\nExperience within Oil & Gas, Energy, or pipe manufacturing environments.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.\nIn this role you will be working 5 days a week from office.\nWorking with us\nOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
