This role ensures material availability, inventory accuracy, and timely execution of planning activities to meet customer and operational requirements while supporting cost, quality, and delivery objectives.\nYou will work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Operations teams to ensure production readiness, optimize inventory performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.\nAs a Manufacturing Production Planner, you will be responsible for:\nAnalyzing material consumption, demand forecasts, aged inventory, purchase orders, in-transit materials, safety stock levels, and other planning data to support production requirements\n\nSupporting inventory stocking strategies through analysis of demand profiles, replenishment policies, inventory targets, and supply risks\n\nMaintaining accurate material master data, routing information, and Bills of Material (BOMs) to support production and procurement activities\n\nReviewing MRP outputs and collaborating with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules\n\nExpediting materials and production requirements to address supply shortages and meet customer and operational needs\n\nIdentifying root causes of material shortages, supply delays, and inventory discrepancies while supporting corrective action plans\n\nSupporting Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and non-conformance resolution across inventory, purchase orders, work-in-process, and finished goods\n\nPartnering with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering teams during New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure supply chain readiness and successful product launches\n\nDriving continuous improvement efforts focused on inventory optimization, cost reduction, delivery performance, quality improvements, and process efficiency\n\nBuilding strong working relationships with suppliers, internal customers, and cross-functional teams to support operational success and customer satisfaction\n\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave an Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience\n\nHave a minimum of 2 years of experience in materials planning, production planning, inventory control, order management, supply chain, or a related manufacturing environment\n\nDemonstrate experience with inventory optimization, materials management, production support, and asset utilization\n\nPossess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret planning data, identify risks, and support effective decision-making\n\nBe capable of executing tasks with urgency while managing multiple priorities within a production-focused environment\n\nDemonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations organizations\n\nPreferred qualifications include:\nWorking knowledge of SAP, MRP, ERP systems, or similar planning tools\n\nAPICS certification such as CPIM or CSCP, or willingness to pursue certification\n\nExperience supporting engineered products, high-mix manufacturing environments, long-lead-time materials, or complex Bills of Material\n\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and inventory reduction initiatives\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, analyze, and present planning reports and performance metrics\n\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
