Our team is responsible for the assembly of high-quality and innovative products.\nPartner with the best\nThe GTE Manufacturing Machining Operations Leader will: Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily workshop production plan to achieve highest HSE performances in the plant & provide direction and assistance to work group and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning in order to meet the expected results by the MFG leadership.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for:\nCoordinate activities of the hourly teams within the cell \nDevelop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily production plan \nDefine shifts schedule on the product lines according with, production plan and operator skills \nManage people presence in terms of Vacation, Shift Change and Hrs absence \nAchieve the highest safety levels in the production line \nGuarantee performance KPI target: CoQ, HSE, on-time delivery, OEE, DL hours development; \nManage training and operator skills in order to respond to • workload needs \nCollaborate with other functions (i.e. ENG, UTOF, MPE) on resolution of nonconformity \nSupport cell leaders in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources \nDefine and work following Standard Works & T/T • Guarantee Quality, HSE and Compliance standard following Company Culture and internal procedures Support continuous improvement roadmap through Lean and Digital development \nSupport HR Team in: recruiting and People management within the production line Baker Hughes Confidential \nSupport Manufacturing organization in Shop Tours and other Customer oriented initiatives (i.e. Annual Meeting) \nManage the relation in the workshop with the customer’s inspector and other functions visitors/auditors/guests\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHold an Engineering Degree or equivalent \nShow experience on Machining area \nDisplay knowledge of manufacturing operations and practices \nHave strong Manufacturing experience \nBe able to work in a matrix organization \nShow strong influencing, interpersonal and leadership skills \nBe able to work in a global environment \nBe able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines \nHold a EU Work Permit \nDesired Characteristics:\nLean Quality or Deep Lean Tools \nGreen Belt Certification \nKnowledge of English \nChange agent attitude, mindset open to new ideas \nPrevious experience in the machining organization is highly desirable\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
