You’ll play a key role to meet our manufacturing plan targets, collaborating with internal and external functions, leveraging on in-depth knowledge of Master Schedule and Long term/ Short term planning logic.\nAs a Production Controller will be responsible for:\nCoordinating a large manufacturing unit among Florence/Massa plants, and farm out suppliers;\nParticipating in weekly production meetings to share information with internal customers and stakeholders;\nTracking Shop and Suppliers’ short term plan verifying consistency against Master Schedule and Long-medium term planning cycle time;\nWorking within our ERP system (Oracle) to identify material requirements, analyse supply and optimise Inventory level;\nOverseeing cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, materials shortages, machine maintenance and capacity related issues;\nDeveloping, introducing and improving usability of digital tools collaborating with system engineers, front-end developers and software developers;\nUnderstanding and tracking key deliverables (OTD/VTC, SMI, inventory turns, WIP aging).\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a Bachelor degree in a relevant field with strong experience in production control, planning, supervision or sourcing;\nDemonstrate the great ability to work in cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment;\nHave the great ability to work independently and be able to identify and drive process improvements;\nDisplay a relevant mechanical mindset with an analytical approach to innovation;\nHave a solid knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and competency with MS Office;\nDisplay advanced communication skills and fluency with the English language;\nShow effective interpersonal and leadership skills.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
