Your responsibilities will span the entire life cycle of embedded software development, including requirement specification, architecture design, simulation, implementation, verification & validation, and documentation.\nAs a Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for:\nDesigning, testing, and deploying embedded software for the different microcontroller platforms including framework and drivers.\n\nDebugging and troubleshooting the embedded systems using simulators.\n\nAnalyzing digital circuits and technical datasheets.\n\nUnderstanding, maintaining, and improving existing embedded software.\n\nDefining and contributing to common standards and development approaches (e.g., requirements analysis process, design- and coding styles, test standards).\n\nTo be successful in this role you will:\n5+ years of experience in embedded software development\n\nAbove-average university degree (FH, University, TU) in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science or comparable.\n\nProven C programming and development experiences.\n\nGood understanding of embedded operating systems (RTOS).\n\nExperience on communication technologies like I2C, SPI, UART or CAN.\n\nExperience of digital signal processing and conditioning.\n\nExperience in using measurement- and laboratory equipment.\n\nExperience with at least one software version control and defect tracking software (e.g., SVN / GitHub).\n\nSelf-contained, self-motivated and structured to work within a worldwide functioning interdisciplinary team.\n\nGood written and verbal English skills, due to working in an international diverse working environment and strong interest in working with other cultures.\n\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
