You will contribute through both hands-on technical work and collaborative project execution, applying sound engineering judgment and systems thinking across the entire product lifecycle.\nWorking within cross-functional teams, you will engage with customers, support project delivery, and provide technical guidance to ensure solutions are robust, commercially viable, and aligned with business and technology strategies.\nAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nLeading and contributing to the design and development of new products, services, and customer-specific engineering solutions.\nApplying systems engineering principles including:Requirements definition\nSystem architecture\nIntegration planning\nConfiguration management\nRisk management\n\nSupporting projects through concept development, design, verification, validation, production, and commercialization activities.\nCollaborating with Discipline Engineering, Research, Testing, and Product Development teams to ensure technical excellence.\nParticipating in customer engagement activities including requirements gathering, technical workshops, design reviews, and proposal development.\nProviding technical mentorship and serving as a subject matter resource within your engineering discipline.\nSupporting project planning, execution, and delivery while maintaining technical integrity and alignment with business objectives.\nManaging technical interfaces across engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.\nContributing to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen engineering practices, product quality, and operational efficiency.\nSupporting engineering decisions using analytical methods, technical assessments, and risk-based approaches.\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role, you will:\nHold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of core mechanical engineering principles, including:Mechanics\nStructural dynamics\nRotor dynamics\nThermodynamics\nFluid mechanics and aerodynamics\nMaterials science\nStructural analysis\n\nBe proficient with:CAD systems\nCAM tools\nProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms\n\nHave experience designing or analyzing mechanical systems such as:Fluid transport systems\nCompression systems\nCombustion systems\nThermal management systems\n\nDemonstrate experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nHave experience applying systems engineering methodologies to complex engineering challenges.\nPossess strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nBe comfortable engaging with customers and supporting technical discussions.\nDemonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nRecognized expertise within a relevant mechanical engineering discipline.\nExperience leading small technical teams, engineering work packages, or project activities.\nExperience supporting bid development, proposal preparation, or customer solution development.\nKnowledge of product development and engineering processes within industrial or energy sectors.\nExperience mentoring engineers and supporting technical capability development.\nWorking with us\nOur people are at the heart of everything we do.
