Ideal candidate will combine strong data science, statistical skill and hands on experience with developing analytics to solve real-world issues on a scale.\nAs a Senior Specialist - Data Science, you will also be responsible for:\n Work closely with SMEs, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams to grasp analytics use case problem statements.\nAnalyze these challenges from a domain perspective and recommend data science, statistical, or AI-driven solutions.\nDesign and implement analytics solutions by applying advanced data science and statistical methods.\nEstablish measurable outcomes and model metrics to enhance accuracy and reliability.\nConduct exploratory analysis on large, complex datasets-cleaning, preprocessing, validating data, and identifying patterns and trends.\nUphold data quality, governance, privacy standards, and advocate for the ethical use of data and AI.\nBuild scalable, efficient analytics models in partnership with Data, Platform, and ML Engineers.\nPresent insights clearly to stakeholders and leadership through visualizations, reports, and presentations detailing methodology, findings, and hypotheses.\nFuel your passion!\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM field.\nHave 7-10 years of experience in analytics, including 3+ years working on enterprise-scale solutions.\nExperience in Time Series Data.\nDemonstrate expertise in AI/ML, statistical methods, LLM, and Gen AI analytics, Python, and related libraries.\nApply OOP concepts for analytics development.\nShow familiarity with MLOps and model lifecycle management.\nWork independently and drive outcomes.\nExhibit a critical system thinking and problem-solving mindset.\nEffectively explain analytical ideas to non-technical audiences.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.\nWorking flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productive\nWorking with us\nOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
