You will be responsible for driving supplier execution, managing supplier recovery and improvement initiatives, mitigating supply chain risks, and leading cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives. This role requires extensive domestic and international travel to supplier facilities to assess operations, drive corrective actions, improve supplier performance, and ensure continuity of supply for critical products and services.\nAs a Supplier Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:\nManaging supplier delivery performance and ensuring materials, components, and services are available to meet business and customer requirements.\nBuilding strategic relationships with suppliers and serving as the primary point of contact for supplier delivery and operational performance matters.\nDriving supplier recovery plans, risk mitigation activities, and performance improvement initiatives to achieve delivery, quality, and cost objectives.\nConducting regular supplier business reviews and on-site assessments to evaluate operational performance, manufacturing capacity, production readiness, and risk exposure.\nCollaborating with planning, sourcing, quality, engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain activities.\nMonitoring supplier performance metrics, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions to improve on-time delivery and operational excellence.\nResolving supply chain challenges through proactive engagement, escalation management, and stakeholder communication while ensuring business continuity.\nTraveling extensively to domestic and international supplier locations to support critical deliveries, supplier development initiatives, capacity assessments, audits, and operational reviews.\nFuel Your Passion\nTo be successful in this role, you will:\nHave a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.\nHave significant experience in supplier delivery, procurement, sourcing, supply chain management, manufacturing operations, or supplier development within an industrial environment.\nDemonstrate expertise in managing suppliers of complex, engineered, long lead-time, and high-value products.\nPossess strong supplier relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple functions.\nHave experience driving supplier performance improvement, recovery plans, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.\nDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience utilizing ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent business systems.\nHave excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage suppliers, customers, and senior leadership teams.\nBe willing and able to undertake extensive domestic and international travel (up to 70-80%) to supplier locations to support business priorities, operational reviews, supplier development, and delivery performance improvement initiatives.\nWorking with Us\nOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
