All activities have tight relationship with other functions, i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistic and Procurement. The main goal is to continuously improve the supplier’s Quality level, reducing both escaping defects and associated cost of quality, while growing and developing the supply base as per business needs.\nAs a Supplier Quality Engineering - Casting and Forging, you will be responsible for:\nSupport the suppliers in the execution of defects root cause analysis (RCA) and support the definition of robust plan of corrective actions (CA) after related Non-Conformity Record (NCR)\nImplement Quality Development Plans for eligible suppliers \nQualify the suppliers according to Company rules \nMove out periodic Audits to verify compliance with company requirements \nCheck the on-the-job inspections according to the Quality Control Plans \nSupport the suppliers on Deviation Request (SDR) management\nSupport cross-functional activities to improve Suppliers Quality\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent work experience in castings and forgings areas\nHave technical knowledge of process metallurgy and metallography, castings solidification, hot metal working, laboratory testing, welding techniques, NDTs (VT, PT, MT, UT, RX) and CNC machining + basics of painting\nBe able to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications\nHave perfect knowledge of Quality Standards (ISO9001 as a minimum)\nBe fluent in English\nBe fluent in Italian or French\nBe proficient in PC & office software\nHold a EU Work Permit\n Be available to travel frequently (almost 50% of the time)\n Be available to travel for 3, 4 days a month to the Baker Hughes plant in Fougerolles-Saint-Valbert (France)\nDesired Characteristics\nPossess an attitude to set dedicated targets and committed to meet deadlines and deliver results\nPossess effective problem-solving abilities and familiar with most popular RCA methods (5W’s, Ishikawa, 8D, 3C)\nUnderstand Six Sigma and statistical concepts\nBe able to assess risks and define mitigation plans\nPossess good negotiations and facilitation skills\nPossess good communication and presentation skills\nHave a data-driven and zero-defect Quality mindset\nBe able to learn quickly and cope with multiple multi-layered situations on daily basis\nBe open to work with teams and people from different cultures\nLean toward health, safety, environmental and sustainability topics\nHave basic knowledge of gears and couplings products\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
