Our Stord facility is a global Center of Excellence for IWOCS (Intervention Workover Control Systems) and production HPUs, delivering advanced control systems and support equipment to the oil and gas industry worldwide.\nAs a System Engineer it’s expected that you will provide technical guidance and development/deployment of IWOCS deliveries to the project, and you are responsible for creating required system documentation and drawings. You will work closely with the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) and other system engineers, and you will report to the PEM on the project you are assigned to and to engineering management.\nAs a System Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nConducting system design reviews in accordance with Baker Hughes’ engineering process, including full review and understanding of technical scope, requirements, and specifications.\nPreparing system documentation for IWOCS.\nEstablishing the technical requirement specification matrix for the project.\nOwning system engineering design file, FMEA, HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and other processes/analyses.\nManaging technical queries and interfaces between IWOCS and other product lines in Baker Hughes.\nProviding input to and preparing for rig survey, and reviewing positioning of IWOCS equipment and deck layout on rig.\nDelivering technical and lifecycle support for systems such as:IWOCS (Intervention Workover Control Systems)\nProduction Hydraulic Power Units (HPU)\nReeler systems\nTest & Flush HPU units\n\nEnsuring designs comply with requirements for hazardous area equipment (Ex) according to ATEX and IECEx standards.\nSupporting projects from concept and design through manufacturing, testing, and commissioning.\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nPreferred to have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering. Other relevant experience can compensate for lacking formal education.\nHave experience with workover control systems or production HPU designs.\nHave experience and knowledge of relevant oil and gas industry standards such as API, ISO, NORSOK, IEC and EN standards.\nHave experience and knowledge of hazardous area equipment (Ex) and relevant standards (ATEX / IECEx).\nBe familiar with AutoCAD is considered an advantage.\nHave experience with Teamcenter or similar document management systems.\nBe fluent in English.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
