Baker Hughes is seeking a Brazil Tolling Lead to lead the development and execution of our Brazil manufacturing localization and tolling strategy.\nIn this role, you will develop and manage a competitive, sustainable local manufacturing network that supports business growth, improves supply resilience, and strengthens cost competitiveness across our Oilfield Chemicals portfolio. You will work across Commercial, Sourcing, Logistics, Quality, HSE, Technology, Engineering, Planning, and Operations to qualify and manage third-party manufacturing partners, oversee complex manufacturing requirements, and drive localization and continuous improvement.\nAs a Tolling Lead you will:\nDevelop and execute the Brazil tolling and localization strategy to support regional business growth, supply resilience, and cost competitiveness.\nLead the performance of the Brazil toll manufacturing network against defined quality, cost, delivery, safety, and compliance objectives.\nIdentify, assess, qualify, onboard, and manage third-party manufacturing and tolling partners across Brazil.\nEstablish operational governance, performance measures, and continuous-improvement plans aligned with applicable benchmarks and Baker Hughes standards.\nManage a toll manufacturing portfolio ensuring effective budget control, cost management, and value delivery.\nLead supplier qualification, site assessments, audits, operational-readiness reviews, and manufacturing capability evaluations.\nOversee complex and customized chemical manufacturing processes requiring technical evaluation and solutions tailored to product and customer requirements.\nConduct management-level interactions with Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Quality, HSE, Technology, Sourcing, Logistics, Commercial, and other enabling functions to maintain technical and organizational alignment.\nPartner with Commercial and Technology teams to enable product localization, manufacturing transfers, and customer growth initiatives.\nCollaborate with Sourcing and Logistics to optimize raw-material availability, material flow, inventory, transportation, and overall supply-chain performance.\nDrive manufacturing cost reduction, productivity, and continuous-improvement initiatives that strengthen regional competitiveness.\nSupport contract negotiations, supplier governance, performance reviews, and corrective-action processes.\nLead assigned salaried employees and cross-functional project teams, establishing clear priorities, accountability, and development objectives.\nEnsure compliance with Baker Hughes requirements for Quality, HSE, Regulatory, Trade Compliance, and operational integrity.\nFuel your passion:\nTo be successful in this role, you will:\nHave a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Operations Management, or a related discipline.\nHave a minimum of five years of additional experience in operations management, chemical manufacturing, contract manufacturing, tolling, supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or a related field.\nDemonstrate experience managing external manufacturing partners, complex manufacturing operations, or supplier relationships.\nDemonstrate the ability to lead programs and projects from planning through execution.\nHave strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated ability to resolve complex operational and manufacturing issues.\nPossess strong commercial acumen and experience evaluating business cases, manufacturing costs, budgets, and supplier performance.\nHave strong project management, stakeholder management, and organizational capabilities.\nHave strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.\nBe willing to travel within Brazil and internationally as required.\nDesired Characteristics\nDirect experience with toll manufacturing in specialty chemicals, industrial chemicals, or oilfield chemicals.\nExperience leading localization, manufacturing transfers, or regional supply-chain transformation initiatives.\nKnowledge of supplier qualification, manufacturing audits, quality systems, and operational-readiness requirements.\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across organizational and functional boundaries.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze problems, establish practical solutions, document plans, and execute complex programs.\nEstablished project management skills and experience managing several concurrent initiatives.\nExperience working in a matrixed global organization.\nFamiliarity with the Brazilian chemical manufacturing, regulatory, and supply-chain environment.\nWorking with us:\nOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
