You will handle long, heavy tubular equipment, maintain accurate inventory records, verify incoming and outgoing shipments, and contribute to the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility.\nAs a Warehouse and Yard Operator II, you will be responsible for:\nSafely operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage long, heavy tubular equipment.\nVerifying incoming shipments and outgoing deliveries for accuracy and completeness.\nInspecting equipment and materials while ensuring proper documentation and inventory control.\nCoordinating with third-party drivers and transportation providers to facilitate efficient loading and unloading activities.\nUtilizing SAP and Microsoft Excel to track inventory, process transactions, and maintain warehouse records.\nReading and comprehending work instructions, correspondence, shipping documents, and internal procedures.\nMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment.\nAssisting with inventory counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.\nUsing basic hand tools as needed and performing routine warehouse support activities.\nWorking collaboratively with team members to meet operational and customer delivery requirements.\nFollowing all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.\nTo be successful in this role, you will:\n\nHave a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.\nHave a minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience.\nHave experience handling long, heavy tubular products or similar industrial materials.\nHave computer literacy with proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.\nHave strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately verify equipment and shipment documentation.\nHave good verbal and written communication skills.\nHave experience working with external carriers, vendors, or third-party drivers.\nBe mechanically inclined with experience using basic hand tools.\nHave the ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and calculations.\nDesired Characteristics\n\nHave previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, oilfield, pipe yard, or distribution warehouse environment.\nHave experience working in a high-volume logistics or material-handling operation.\n\nWork in a Way That Works for You\nThis role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse and yard environment and requires collaboration with team members, third-party drivers, and transportation providers.
