Status: Full-Time
Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30-3 pm

Position Summary
The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling, packaging, inspecting, and reconditioning a variety of water system products. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to producing quality products in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Assembly & Production
- Assemble products and components according to work instructions and specifications.
- Position and fasten parts using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Operate assembly equipment, including arbor presses and other production machinery.
- Package finished products using bagging and packaging equipment.
- Rotate between workstations and product lines as production needs require.
- Maintain accurate production counts and work records.
Product Inspection & Rework
- Inspect returned products for condition and suitability for repair or reconditioning.
- Perform repairs and rework as needed.
- Prepare reconditioned products for inventory or customer return.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Practice safe work habits and proper equipment operation at all times.
- Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
- Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and production documents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.

Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to:
- Moving mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Manufacturing chemicals and production materials.
- Moderate noise levels.
- Production and assembly equipment.
