In order to be an authorized recruitment agency (\"search firm\") for Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP, there must be a formal written agreement in place and the agency must be invited, by Baker Tilly's Talent Attraction team, to submit candidates for review via our applicant tracking system.\nJob Description:\nResponsibilities\nSupport appropriate financial controls, accounting processes, reconciliations, and governance are maintained.\nMaintain an entity-level compliance calendar and ensure statutory and regulatory\nrequirements (including GST) are completed within prescribed timelines.\nTrack and coordinate direct and indirect tax filings and other applicable statutory filings across assigned entities. Maintain a comprehensive tax and compliance tracker with clear ownership, due dates, and status.\nWork closely with tax consultants/advisors to ensure accurate and timely submissions.\nMonitor entity-level cash positions, liquidity, and funding requirements.\nPrepare and maintain short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts. Analyze actual cash\nmovements against forecasts and explain material variances.\nCoordinate intercompany funding, payments, and other treasury activities as required. Act as a key finance point of contact for statutory and external auditors. Coordinate audit schedules, supporting documentation, management responses, and closure of audit queries.\nWork with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audits. Support initiatives\nrelated to cost optimization, working capital, entity restructuring, process improvement, and financial governance.\nSupport senior leaders in preparing monthly and quarterly financial review decks. Consolidate financial performance, cash flow, compliance, tax, audit, and key risk updates into concise management presentations.\nQualifications\nChartered Accountant, MBA Finance; emphasis in accounting, business, or related field\npreferred.\nMinimum of 7 years of progressive accounting leadership in a complex organization required; including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in public accounting or professional services environment preferred.\nAdvance Excel Modeling and macros, SQL, PPT, Power Query. Candidates with Workday/Adaptive experience preferred.\nA proven track record of successfully executing positive change and delivering operational excellence.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate complex issues and influence across all levels of the organization\nEffective time management and organizational skills, with proven ability to prioritize while\nsimultaneously manage numerous projects and processes, often under tight deadlines.\nExecutive presence with diplomacy, good judgment, and ability to develop relationships, build rapport, and effectively interface with all levels including stakeholders, clients, and vendors\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to connect the dots with business realities, Possesses honesty, integrity, strong work ethic, and multi-functional collaboration skills.
