2026-11-10\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManaging a portfolio of corporate clients across Botswana and the wider regional network, acting as the primary point of contact for tax compliance and advisory matters\n\nReviewing tax computations, tax returns, and tax reconciliations prepared by team members prior to client submission\n\nCoordinating tax planning and advisory engagements, interpreting new and amended tax legislation for clients in Botswana\n\nOverseeing client registration and compliance processes with the relevant revenue authority (BURS), including onboarding and ongoing compliance monitoring\n\nConducting and reviewing tax health checks and customs health checks to identify client risk areas and recommend remediation\n\nPreparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation for cross-border transactions\n\nSupporting and coordinating audit engagements, including liaison with revenue authorities on client-side documentation and advance rulings\n\nSupervising and mentoring junior consultants and interns, allocating work and reviewing output for technical accuracy\n\nResearching local, regional and international tax developments to keep the practice's advisory positions current\n\nSupporting the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and deferred tax calculations where required\n\nContributing to business development, including identifying opportunities within the existing client base and supporting proposal preparation\n\nRequirements\n\nA degree in Fiscal Studies, or a related discipline degree class 2.1. or better\n\nAt least Seven years of experience in tax.\n\nProgressive tax experience gained across compliance, advisory, and audit-support functions\n\nWorking toward or holding a relevant professional/tax qualification (e.g., ADIT)\n\nStrong working knowledge of tax authorities compliance requirements, tax computations, and transfer pricing documentation\n\nProven ability to manage client relationships and work
