You will support the successful delivery of aviation projects ranging from terminal developments and airfield infrastructure to baggage handling systems, utilities and operational improvement programmes.\nWorking as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle, supporting clients, project managers and delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities\nLeading cost management activities across a portfolio of aviation projects.\nPreparing and managing cost plans, estimates, forecasts and commercial reports.\nAdministering NEC contracts, including early warnings, compensation events and change management processes.\nAssessing contractor applications, valuations and final accounts.\nProviding commercial and contractual advice to clients and project teams.\nSupporting procurement activities, tender evaluations and contract awards.\nManaging commercial risks and identifying opportunities to improve project performance.\nBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.\nAbout You\nDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.\nProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, transportation, aviation or construction projects.\nStrong NEC contract administration experience is essential.\nDemonstrable experience managing commercial risk, change control, contractor valuations and final accounts.\nExcellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience working within multidisciplinary project environments.\nMRICS, or working towards chartership, is desirable.\nWhy BakerHicks?\nBakerHicks delivers complex infrastructure and built environment projects across aviation, life sciences, defence, energy, rail and industrial sectors.
