As our High Voltage team continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Revit Technician to join our multidisciplinary engineering team.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Revit professional to play a key role in the delivery of major High Voltage and Transmission & Distribution projects, supporting the UK's transition to a more sustainable energy future.\nReporting into the High Voltage CAD and Design team, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and maintaining high-quality 3D models and engineering drawings, ensuring projects are delivered in line with BakerHicks and client BIM standards.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain coordinated 3D Revit models for High Voltage engineering projects.\nProduce high-quality 2D drawings and documentation derived from Revit models.\nSupport engineers and designers in developing engineering layouts and design information.\nCoordinate Revit models and design information across multiple engineering disciplines.\nIdentify and assist in resolving model and drawing coordination issues.\nProduce and maintain drawings using AutoCAD where required.\nWork in accordance with BakerHicks CAD, BIM and document control standards.\nFollow project-specific CAD/BIM standards and client requirements.\nSupport the implementation of BIM and digital delivery processes within the High Voltage team.\nMaintain accurate model and drawing information throughout the project lifecycle.\nParticipate in model reviews, design coordination meetings and project reviews where required.\nWork collaboratively with CAD Technicians, Engineers, Designers and Project Managers across multidisciplinary teams.\nContribute to the continued development of Revit capability, standards and best practice within the High Voltage CAD team.\nAbout You\nThe successful candidate will have proven experience working within a design and engineering environment, with strong Revit modelling skills and a collaborative approach to project delivery.\nYou will ideally have:\nExtensive experience using Autodesk Revit in an engineering environment.\nGood working knowledge of AutoCAD.\nExperience producing detailed engineering drawings and coordinated BIM models.\nKnowledge of BIM processes, standards and best practices.\nExperience working on infrastructure, power, utilities, energy or industrial projects.\nStrong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.\nA proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.\nExperience within High Voltage, Transmission & Distribution or related sectors would be advantageous.\nWhy this role?\nYou will form part of a team that is a trusted partner for some of the UK's key clients, delivering detailed and complex turnkey designs\nYou will work on flagship, high-profile projects - some of the most exciting in the UK with the ability to see your projects come to life through the full design lifecycle\nYou will be joining a diverse, established team with a varied background of skills and expertise, who value new ideas and welcome innovative solutions.
