Your application cannot be fully considered without a portfolio.\nAre you a Senior Structural Technician with strong Revit and reinforced concrete detailing experience looking to work on technically challenging projects across the UK?\nAt BakerHicks, you'll join a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering complex projects across aviation, defence, industrial, life sciences and infrastructure sectors. Working closely with Structural Engineers and fellow Technicians, you'll be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality structural models and drawings, helping to deliver practical, efficient and buildable design solutions from concept through to construction.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys technical detail, collaborative working and taking ownership of project delivery while supporting the development of junior team members.\nWhat you'll do\nProduce and coordinate detailed structural drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD.\nDevelop reinforced concrete detailing packages, including foundations, retaining structures, slabs, walls and associated structural elements.\nProduce structural deliverables across a range of materials including reinforced concrete, steel and timber.\nTake ownership of drawing and modelling packages throughout all project stages.\nWork closely with Structural Engineers and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver coordinated and buildable solutions.\nEnsure all drawing outputs meet project requirements, relevant standards and company quality procedures.\nReview and check your own work, as well as supporting quality reviews of junior team members' outputs.\nCoordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers and external consultants.\nReview supplier and subcontractor drawings to ensure compliance with design intent.\nSupport BIM delivery and contribute to the development of digital engineering best practice.\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians and trainees.\nParticipate in technical meetings and represent the structural team when required.\nWhat we're looking for\nHNC qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.\nSignificant experience as a Structural Technician within an engineering consultancy environment.\nAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.\nStrong experience in reinforced concrete detailing and structural drafting.\nExperience producing detailed structural drawings and models across multiple project phases.\nGood understanding of structural detailing principles for reinforced concrete, steel and timber structures.\nKnowledge of current UK standards, regulations and industry best practice.\nExperience working within BIM-led projects and multidisciplinary teams.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy.\nExcellent communication and coordination skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver work to programme deadlines.\nDesirable\nEngTech or working towards professional accreditation.\nExperience working on projects within aviation, defence, industrial, infrastructure or life sciences sectors.\nPrevious experience supervising or mentoring junior technicians.\nWhy BakerHicks?\nAt BakerHicks, you'll work on complex engineering and building projects alongside highly experienced engineers and technicians.
