This position plays an important role in supporting daily operations by ensuring the facility meets cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in a heavy manufacturing and foundry environment.\nThe ideal candidate is dependable, safety conscious, self motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nFacility Cleaning & Sanitation\nClean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, offices, and other common areas. \nSweep, mop, scrub, and dry floors throughout production and office areas. \nClean hallways, lobbies, corridors, lounges, windows, doors, walls, ceilings, and other assigned surfaces. \nEmpty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas. \nReplenish restroom and breakroom supplies, including soap, paper products, and sanitation items. \nMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility and surrounding grounds. \nSafety & Compliance\nFollow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE while working in or around production areas. \nMaintain safe walking surfaces by addressing spills, debris, and hazards promptly. \nAssist with sidewalk and entrance safety during winter months, including snow removal and salting. \nWork safely in hot, loud, dusty, and industrial manufacturing environments. \nGrounds & General Support\nPick up refuse and maintain cleanliness of exterior plant grounds and entrances. \nSupport light maintenance tasks and special cleaning projects as assigned. \nAssist departments with facility cleanliness needs to help maintain operational efficiency. \nQualifications & Skills\nStrong attendance and reliability. \nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision. \nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions. \nGood communication and teamwork skills. \nBasic math and problem solving abilities. \nAbility to maintain a clean, organized, and safety focused work environment. \nPrevious janitorial, custodial, industrial cleaning, or manufacturing experience preferred. \nEducation & Experience Requirements\nPrevious janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred. \nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently required to stand, walk, bend, reach, talk, and hear throughout the workday. \nFrequently lift and move 10-25 pounds. \nOccasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. \nOccasionally push or pull wheeled carts up to 100 pounds. \nOccasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. \nMust be able to work in hot, loud, dusty, and
