This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to producing quality products in a safe manufacturing environment.\nEssential Responsibilities\nMachine Operation\nOperate lathes, slotting machines, and other production equipment.\nRead job orders and production instructions to determine product specifications and operating requirements.\nPosition and secure workpieces, tooling, and fixtures.\nAdjust machine controls to establish proper feeds, speeds, and cutting depths.\nOperate machine controls and handwheels to perform machining operations.\nDirect coolant, cutting oil, or air flow as required during production.\nQuality & Inspection\nMonitor machine operation to ensure product quality and efficiency.\nInspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.\nVerify parts meet dimensional and quality specifications.\nReport equipment issues, quality concerns, or production discrepancies to supervision.\nSafety & Housekeeping\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures.\nWear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nPractice safe operation of machinery and equipment at all times.\n*Other Duties as Assigned\nQualifications\nRequired\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment.\nMechanical aptitude and attention to detail.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.\nBasic math and measurement skills.\nDependable attendance and strong work ethic.\nPreferred\nHighschool Diploma or GED preferred, equivalent will be accepted.\nPrevious machine operation or manufacturing experience.\nExperience working with lathes, slotters, or similar production equipment.\nExperience using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.\nExperience reading blueprints or production drawings.\nSkills & Abilities\nStrong attention to quality and accuracy.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nGood communication and organizational skills.\nAbility to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.\nAbility to identify and report production issues.\nPhysical Requirements\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.\nRegular standing throughout the workday.\nFrequent use of hands, controls, and measuring devices.\nFrequent talking and hearing.\nOccasional walking throughout the facility.\nFrequent lifting of up to 10 pounds.\nOccasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to visually inspect products and equipment, including close vision, depth perception, and color recognition.\nWork Environment\nThis position works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to:\nMoving mechanical equipment and machinery.\nMetalworking fluids, fumes, and airborne particles.\nModerate to loud noise levels.\nProduction equipment and manufacturing processes.\nAppropriate training and personal protective equipment will be provided.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nMonoflex is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
