This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery, furnaces, hydraulic systems, conveyors, and other foundry equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, continuous operations.\nMAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nProven ability to perform preventive maintenance on foundry machinery and equipment such as furnaces, molding machines, sand systems, shakeout equipment, conveyors, cranes, and hoists.\nSkilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\nExperience diagnosing equipment failures, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing effective repairs to minimize downtime.\nProficiency in welding and fabrication for repair or modification of equipment parts.\nWorking knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming.\nFamiliarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for logging maintenance activities and tracking parts usage.\nAbility to install and assist in the startup of new machinery and equipment.\nExperience in performing routine tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machines, while monitoring for signs of excessive wear, abnormal noise, vibration, or overheating.\nDemonstrated commitment to safety practices, including proper use of lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE.\nCapable of identifying equipment issues through sound, vibration, and operational behavior, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve them.\nAbility to maintain accurate maintenance records, manage spare parts, and keep a clean, organized maintenance area.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nMAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a foundry or heavy manufacturing environment.\nHigh school diploma or GED required;
