Strong interpersonal skills for developing client relationships is a must. We are looking at qualified applicants with diverse backgrounds to help continue to grow the Structures group at Bala.\nThis role will work in a multitude of services within structural engineering including, but not limited to:\nDesign and serve as, or work with, the structural E.O.R. for building designs of new construction, renovations and additions. \nProvide consultations to clients and prospective clients for structural work. \nSupport BALA’s MEP departments on infrastructure and fit-out projects. \nAdapt to the varieties of business sectors such as commercial, residential, industrial, institutional and retail. \nIn addition, we support any path within the realm of structural engineer that aligns with BALA’s vision. \nJob Requirements:\nStructural Engineering, or Civil Degree with structural emphasis, from an accredited institution. \nRegistered EIT with a focus on Structural Engineering; Registered PE preferred \n10+ years experience in structural design of buildings \nCreative problem-solving skills \nCapable of working individually, and in a team environment. \nAbility to thrive in collaborative work situations. \nA drive for thorough research, and multi-disciplinary curiosities. \nAn affinity for marketing and business development. \nBala’s compensation package includes a rich benefits package along with market competitive salary structure.
