The Project Manager must be able to make frequent trade-offs between business targets and projects and/or operational performance.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nMakes recommendations and implements approved organization-wide policies impacting operations that are consistent with business needs and culture\n\nOrganizes and prioritizes value driven operational projects and drives them to timely completion\n\nAssists in the definition of project scope, budget, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and technical feasibility\n\nReviews and analyzes operational responsibilities, timelines, and stakeholders to focus on long term success\n\nAttends regular business segment leader meetings, helping the team gather, analyze, and organize projects, track project progress, and move them to quality completion\n\nPerforms risk management to minimize and forecast project risks\n\nEstablishes and maintains a relationship with third parties/vendors\n\nManages and recommends changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs as needed\n\nDevelop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs\n\nMaintains a project portfolio including a breakdown of each initiative and how they line up from a priority perspective\n\nMeasures project performance and results using appropriate tools and techniques\n\nPresents to stakeholders and reports on progress, problems, and solutions\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with people at all job levels and relay information in legible reports to leadership\n\nDemonstrated ability to understand and evaluate problems and present solutions\n\nExcellent presentation skills in order to effectively describe an initiative or process\n\nDesire to work as a team with a results-driven approach\n\nAbility to understands the internal climate of the organization, define the most productive channels of communication, and uses such channels to achieve goals and objectives\n\nDemonstrates the firm’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with corporate culture.\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\n3+ years’ experience in business and/or operations involving strategic execution\n\nA Bachelor’s degree in business or related field helpful, with additional professional development or designations\n\nPMP, Six-Sigma, or ACP certification highly preferred\n\nProficiency in project management software tools\n\nProven project management expertise across multiple business operations and functions\n\nIMPORTANT NOTICE:\nThis position description is intended to describe the level of work required of the person performing in the role and is not a contract.
