This role is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in managing all administrative and technical requirements for construction special projects. Assists in all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financials, set-up and updates, and schedule to ensure projects are completed in a quality, profitable, safe, sustainable, and timely manner. Maintain constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer needs and expectations by supporting the Project Manager in all aspects of assigned projects.\nEssential Functions\nProject Financial Analysis\nPreconstruction Coordination\nProject Scheduling\nProject Administration, Operations, and Close-out\nPromote Customer and Community Relations \nFoster Positive Culture, Leadership and Employee Development\nMinimum Requirements\nBachelor's Degree required.\nAt least 5 years of previous construction office or field commercial experience in a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or Assistant Project Manager role.\n1-year or more of direct supervisory experience.\nExperience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.).\nExperience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports.\nExperience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s).\nPreferred Experience\nLocal candidates preferred but not required.\nDSA/ Public works experience is a plus\nCommissioning Coordinator experience\nExperience in Change Orders Drafting/Negotiating\nKnows how to drive material procurement as it relates to schedule\nCan read a look ahead and CPM schedule\nCapable of facilitating meetings\nExperience in reviewing sub-billings\nThe base compensation range for the role of Assistant Project Manager in El Segundo CA posted above is $105,000 to $125,000 annually. \nThis is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
