The Senior Project Accountant is the primary accounting and administrative support for construction projects from start up through final closeout. Serves as the liaison between the job site and the finance department, ensuring all accounting standard operating procedures are followed at the job site. Performs activities related to contracts, bonds, insurance, payables, liens, billings, payroll/cost/budget reports for the job site management team.\n\n Essential Functions\nProject Accounting\nSubcontractor Management\nProject Administration\nPromotes Customer Relations\nPromotes Culture, Leadership and Employee Development\nDevelops and analyzes value management analysis options\n\nMinimum Requirements\nAssociates in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).\n5 years of experience preferably in the construction industry.\nProficiency in basic accounting principles.\nProficient using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).\n\nPreferred Experience\nB.A. in Accounting\nConstruction accounting experience or AEC industry experience strongly desired, but not required. \n10 years of experience\nLocal candidate preferred, but not required. \n\nPay Range: $50,000-70,000*This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
