The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and project management, with the ability to oversee and deliver projects efficiently from conception through to completion.\nThe Ideal Candidate will have the following experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field (1st Class Honours preferred).\nProven experience and expertise in mechanical design, project management, and engineering.\nBroad engineering knowledge covering mechanical, electrical, and control systems, with a strong mechanical engineering bias.\nProficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor, 2D AutoCAD, and SolidWorks (experience in 3D AutoCAD desirable).\nMust have experience of Front-End Engineering Design (FEED).\nExperience reviewing customer requirements, technical specifications, and developing engineering solutions for bids, tenders, and project delivery.\nExperience supporting site surveys, developing site layouts, coordinating technical queries, and producing engineering documentation.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex mechanical, electrical, and control system designs.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers, commercial teams, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.\nAbility to act as a key engineering interface between customers, Sales, and Engineering, ensuring technical requirements are understood and translated into practical solutions.\nKnowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.\nExperience in risk assessment, product development, and quality assurance procedures.\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, bids, tenders, and engineering activities simultaneously.\nDetail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and delivering high-quality work.\nAbility to support multidisciplinary engineering activities from concept development through to project
