At the heart of Ballerina Farm is a desire to share the beauty, simplicity, and richness of farm life with people everywhere.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for a full-time Cook at our Midway, Utahlocation. This role focuses on preparing high-quality, consistent meals in bulk according to set recipes and portioning standards. The grab and go meals produced in our kitchen require attention to detail and self-motivation in order to keep up with the high demand. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with others, and has a passion for delivering nutritious, great-tasting food.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPrepare, cook, and portion meals according to standardized recipes and daily production lists\nMaintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all batches\nFollow proper food safety, sanitation, and allergen-handling procedures\nOperate and maintain kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, slicers, vacuum sealers, etc.)\nWeigh, measure, and label ingredients for accurate inventory control.\nAssist with receiving, storing, and rotating food stock\nClean and sanitize workstations, tools, and storage areas at the end of each shift\nWork collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet daily and weekly production goals\nWhat You’ll Need\nPrior experience in a commercial kitchen, catering, or meal prep environment preferred\nA valid Utah Food Handlers Permit is required.\nStrong understanding of food safety and handling standards (ServSafe certification a plus)\nAbility to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently with large batch production\nComfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs\nReliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team\nAbout the Opportunity\nThis is a full-time position\nThis position is on-site, requiring all hours to be performed in the kitchen in Midway and/or Kamas, Utah\nKitchen hours are from 8:30am to 6:30pm, Tuesday through Saturday, with individual schedules determined by the Sous Chef.\nWhy You Want to Work Here\nPaid Time Off\nOpportunity to learn, grow, and refine your craft while working alongside experienced mentors and talented chefs who are committed to developing the next generation of culinary professionals\nBallerina Farm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful workplace for all employees and applicants.
