The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Compliance and wider business teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nCompliance Monitoring and Testing\nAssist with the execution of the Compliance Monitoring Programme.\nPerform compliance testing, sample reviews, and thematic reviews.\nDocument testing completed, findings identified, and supporting evidence.\nAssist with tracking remediation actions arising from compliance reviews.\nEscalate identified issues or control weaknesses to senior Compliance staff.\nMaintain accurate monitoring records and audit trails.\nRegulatory Reporting\nAssist with the preparation and submission of regulatory returns and notifications.\nCoordinate with relevant internal teams to obtain information required for regulatory reporting.\nPerform basic completeness and accuracy checks on regulatory reporting data.\nMaintain the regulatory reporting calendar and supporting records.\nAssist with regulatory information requests and ad hoc submissions.\nRegulatory Change\nMonitor relevant regulatory and industry developments.\nReview regulatory publications, guidance, circulars, and other updates.\nPrepare summaries of relevant developments for the Compliance team.\nAssist with maintaining the regulatory change tracker.\nSupport the implementation of regulatory changes where required.\nRegulatory Compliance\nSupport compliance reviews covering areas such as complaints, conflicts of interest, safeguarding, outsourcing, customer communications, record keeping, and conduct requirements.\nAssist with reviews of new products, services, or material business changes from a compliance perspective.\nSupport the investigation and remediation of compliance issues or regulatory breaches.\nMaintain relevant compliance registers, records, and supporting documentation.\nBusiness Support\nProvide day-to-day compliance support to business and operational teams.\nRespond to routine compliance queries and escalate more complex matters where appropriate.\nAssist with compliance projects and internal initiatives.\nSupport the preparation of compliance management information and internal reporting.\nSupport internal and external audit requests where required.\nRequirements\nSkills and Experience\nPrevious experience in Compliance, Risk, Audit, or a similar role within financial services is desirable.\nUnderstanding of regulatory compliance principles within financial services.\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills.\nAbility to review information, identify potential issues, and document findings clearly.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.\nAbility to work independently on routine tasks and escalate matters appropriately.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience within a regulated investment, payments, electronic money, banking, brokerage, or other financial services firm.\nExposure to compliance monitoring or control testing.\nExposure to regulatory reporting.\nFamiliarity with EU financial services regulation.\nRelevant compliance or financial services qualification, or progress towards one.\nReporting Line\nThe selected candidate will report to the Head of
