You will play a crucial role in the development and manufacturing of material handling and storage products. You will be responsible for executing engineering activities, including but not limited to process development, design verification and validation, process validation, equipment troubleshooting, line balancing, and layout design to ensure the successful development and launch of products for our clients. Will consider a 5 day - 8 hour schedule or 4 day - 10 hour schedule with core hours that aligns with the production schedule.\nWhat You’ll Do\nManaging small to large scale projects to achieve timely improvements to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics. \nProject management skills, including planning, coordinating, and resourcing tasks amongst cross-functional teams. \nProblem-solving, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting to quickly propose and implement effective solutions to technical problems. \nAssess and eliminate safety risks in the manufacturing environment and drive improvements to ergonomics throughout the production process. \nEstablish production run rates, balance standard work, create smooth flow of material and finished product. \nImprove product quality by building quality control and mistake-proofing into the manufacturing process. \nDrive cost reduction through improved labor efficiency, improved material utilization, reduced defect rates \nSupport new product launches.\nAll employees are expected to provide customer service, communicate in an effective manner both verbally and in writing, display professionalism and integrity, as well as work efficiently, effectively, and accurately. Successful employees take initiative, solve problems, display good judgment, and take ownership for delivering a high-quality product or service. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering or a related field. \nMinimum of 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferred. \nStrong understanding ISO manufacturing regulations. \nExperience with designing and developing manufacturing processes and equipment. \nKnowledge of statistical process control and process validation requirements. \nExcellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, and analytical skills. \nStrong technical writing skills. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. \nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. \nMust be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook; & AutoCAD \nPreferred knowledge of lean manufacturing principles \nGeneral Competencies\nMust be organized, ability to prioritize, and manage multiple tasks?and projects.? \nAble to communicate, collaborate, and implement projects with internal and external customers. \nDevelop and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements. \nIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, quality, and reduce costs. \nProject management including establishing and maintaining project timelines with some direct supervision.?
