This is a hands-on role combining software development with technical leadership. You’ll design and develop backend services, contribute to technical and architectural decisions, and help the team maintain high engineering standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop backend services using C# / modern .NET\nContribute to technical design and architectural decisions\nBuild integrations with REST APIs, third-party platforms, messaging, and file-based interfaces\nEnsure code quality through code reviews and engineering best practices\nMentor developers and lead technical discussions\nWork with SQL, relational databases, CI/CD, and Docker\nBuild secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions\nCollaborate with product, compliance, QA, and other engineering teams\nMust-Have Requirements:\n7+ years of hands-on C# / .NET experience\nStrong backend development experience\nExperience with REST APIs, integrations, and distributed systems\nStrong SQL and relational database experience\nExperience with Docker and CI/CD\nUnderstanding of secure and reliable software development\nExperience as a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or similar\nAbility to take technical ownership and guide other developers\nNice to Have:\nExperience in payments, banking, fintech, or financial services\nExperience in a regulated / compliance-driven environment\nKnowledge of ISO 20022 / SEPA\nUnderstanding of clearing, settlement, or payment processing\nExperience with Azure or AWS\nHourly rate: up to 52 EUR (Gross).
