Daktronics Technician

ABM Industries is seeking an Electronics Technician to join our Electrical Solutions team!

Pay: $39.00-$42.00 hourly.

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose basic electronic issues across a variety of electrical equipment.
• Use electrical testing equipment to identify faults and verify proper equipment operation.
• Apply strong computer skills to access technical information, document service activities, and complete work orders.
• Complete manufacturer-specific training and apply technical guidance to resolve equipment issues.
• Coordinate with manufacturers’ technical support teams and follow direction to rapidly troubleshoot and repair problems.
• Prepare detailed work order reports, including written explanations and photographs documenting the issue and resolution.

• Experience with electronic billboards such as Daktronics
• Experience with Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations such as ChargePoint, ABB, BTC, FreeWire and others.
• A basic understanding of line voltage electrical (120V, 208V, 277V, & 480V)
• Strong knowledge low voltage 12V & 24V)
• Ability to understand DC voltages and modern battery technology (i.e., Lithium Ion)
• Must hold an active California Driver’s License
• Must have the availability to work nights and weekends as required
