solutions aligned with ABM standards and architectural designs.\nNetwork Engineering, Security, Automation & Operations\n- Support ABM Data Center network infrastructure as part of the engineering\nteam.\n- Implement, configure, maintain, and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 production\nnetworks, including connectivity between data centers, cloud environments,\nand remote sites.\n- Support Cloud OnRamp connectivity for Azure and AWS.\n- Support, operate, and integrate network security and edge platforms, including:\no Cisco ASA\no Palo Alto Networks\no Zscaler\no Fortinet full-stack technologies, including FortiGate, FortiManager,\nFortiAnalyzer, FortiClient, and FortiSASE\n- Assist in the deployment and support of SD-WAN solutions.\n- Execute network automation tasks to support provisioning, configuration\nmanagement, validation, and troubleshooting.\n- Monitor network and security performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate\ncomplex problems as needed.\n- Manage network and security device configurations, firmware, and software\nupgrades using established processes.\n- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation supporting the production network.\nDesign, Standards & Architecture\n- Follow established network, security, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, Fortinet\nplatform, automation standards and best practices.\n- Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations,\nprocedures, and operational runbooks.\n- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve standardization and reduce\ntechnical debt.\nDesign, Standards & Architecture\n- Follow established network, security, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, Fortinet\nplatform, automation standards and best practices.\n- Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations,\nprocedures, and operational runbooks.\n- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve standardization and reduce\ntechnical debt.\nProject Delivery & Lifecycle Management\n- Support delivery of network and security components for initiatives, including\ndata center builds, site builds, refreshes, SD-WAN deployments, Cloud OnRamp\nimplementations, and modernization projects.\n- Assist in data center builds and migration efforts, including exposure to\ntechnologies such as VXLAN and Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV).\n- Operate within a Plan / Build / Operate model (primarily focused on building and\noperating activities).\n- Participate in lifecycle management activities to ensure stable and supportable\nnetwork and security services.\nCollaboration & Support\n- Provide operational support through ServiceNow incidents, requests, and\ntroubleshooting activities.\n- Collaborate with Information Security, systems, applications, cloud, and IT\nsupport teams.\n- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nContinuous Improvement\n- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in\nnetworking, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, automation, and network security.\n- Support evaluation and implementation of improvements to network and\noperational practices.\n- Participate in team knowledge sharing and skill development.\n- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n Required Experience & Skills\n- 3-5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, with experience in Data Center\nor enterprise networking environments.\n- Hands-on experience with:\no Cisco technologies (Nexus, ASR/ISR)\no SD-WAN solutions and Cloud OnRamp concepts\no Cloud connectivity for Azure and AWS\no Network security platforms, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks,\nZscaler, and Fortinet technologies\no Load balancers, WAN, and wireless technologies (basic experience)\n- Experience supporting network automation using tools such as Ansible,\nTerraform, Python, or similar frameworks.\n- Strong knowledge of networking and routing protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP,\nOSPF, and related technologies (VPN, LAN, WAN, WLAN).\n- Experience supporting Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments.\n- Proven troubleshooting skills across network, cloud connectivity, and security\nenvironments.\n- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.\n- Effective communication skills with the ability to work independently and within\na team environment.\n- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or\nequivalent work experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\n- Cisco certification (CCNA or CCNP) or equivalent experience.\n- Fortinet certifications (NSE 4 or equivalent experience).\n- Security certifications or experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or\nZscaler platforms.\n- Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) or other NAC solutions.\n- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).\n- Experience with cloud networking in Azure and AWS (VPC/VNet, routing,\nsecurity, connectivity).\n- Exposure to automation or DevNet tools (APIs, scripting, or CI/CD concepts).\n- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds Orion).\n- Basic experience with QoS, Multicast, and traffic analysis tools (NetFlow, packet\ncapture).\nAdditional Requirements\n- Ability to verify legal authorization to work.\n- Ability to read, speak, and
