In this role, you will support testing efforts across Voice AI components such as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), and Text-to-Speech (TTS), Workflow and Automation while also contributing to test documentation preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with up to 3 years of QA experience to deepen their skills in the fast-growing Voice AI space.\n\nPart-time: 20 hours/week\n\nFully remote position: Australian company\n\nStart date: ASAP\n\nLong-term opportunity with potential for increased hours\n\nCompensation: Flexible, depending on experience level\n\nKey Responsibilities:\r\n\nAssist in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Voice AI Agent applications and backend services.\n\nConduct functional, integration, and regression testing of AI-powered voice interactions, including speech recognition, intent understanding, and response accuracy.\n\nValidate voice agent conversation flows, including ASR, NLU, and TTS performance.\n\nPrepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test reports, and defect logs.\n\nIdentify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).\n\nParticipate in test reviews and provide feedback to developers and product managers.\n\nSupport API testing for backend services and voice agent integrations.\n\nCollaborate closely with senior QA engineers, developers, and product teams to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.\n\nAssist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preparation and execution.\n\nEnsure testing follows security and privacy best practices.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\r\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.\n\n1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.\n\nExposure to Voice AI, Chatbots, or Conversational AI products is preferred.\n\nBasic understanding of ASR, NLU, and TTS technologies.\n\nExperience writing and executing test cases and preparing QA documentation.\n\nFamiliarity with QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, or similar.\n\nSome experience with API testing or automation tools is a plus.\n\nGood problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\n\nEagerness to learn new testing techniques and Voice AI technologies.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\r\n\nFamiliarity with Bot Testing Tools (e.g., Botium) is a plus.\n\nBasic scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for automation is a bonus.\n\nExperience with agile development
