This role sits at the heart of our distribution operations, overseeing the full order management process from accurately processing incoming orders through to coordinating dispatch, transportation and delivery.\nYou will help ensure that every product leaving our sites meets the high standards of quality, presentation and condition that our customers and partners expect, supporting an exceptional end-to-end service experience.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Bamford Collection and play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of our distribution operations.\nSALARY: £29,417.50 per annum\nHOURS: 40 hours per week\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAccurately process incoming orders from stores, customers, sales teams, and internal departments, ensuring all information is complete and correct.\n\nManage weekly ordering books, including distributing, collating, and processing submissions.\n\nArrange internal stock movements, collections, and transport, ensuring smooth coordination across sites.\n\nOrganise incoming and outgoing shipments, selecting carriers, scheduling collections, and preparing all required shipping documentation.\n\nTrack shipments in transit, provide timely updates to stores and internal teams, and resolve any delivery delays or issues.\n\nMaintain accurate and compliant shipping records, including packing lists, bills of lading, and labels.\n\nSupport stores and customers with order status, transport queries, and product information, resolving issues promptly.\n\nCommunicate shortages, delays, or order discrepancies to relevant parties.\n\nAssist the warehouse with dispatch paperwork and processing when required.\n\nDeliver a high level of customer service, responding to enquiries quickly and professionally.\n\nCarry out any additional reasonable tasks requested by management.\n\nSKILLS YOU WILL BRING\nAble to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, customers, transport partners, and suppliers. Confident in relaying information, resolving queries, and maintaining strong working relationships across the business.\n\nDemonstrated ability to meet performance targets, work to agreed service levels, and proactively manage priorities to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.\n\nComfortable using spreadsheets for data entry, reporting, analysis, and tracking. Familiar with formulas, formatting, and general data accuracy requirements essential to supply chain and distribution workflows.\n\nAble to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, coordinate schedules, and maintain structured processes to ensure orders, shipments, and documentation run smoothly and on time.\n\nCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively alongside warehouse teams, transport providers, supply chain colleagues, and customer-facing departments.\n\nMeticulous approach to order accuracy, documentation, data integrity, and communication. Ensures errors are minimised and standards consistently met.\n\nAble to identify issues quickly, investigate root causes, and implement practical solutions to maintain smooth operations and prevent recurring challenges.\n\nConfident in providing support to stores, customers, and internal stakeholders.
