Under the leadership of Executive Chef Callum Graham, our team combines classical technique with modern inspiration, making The Wild Rabbit one of the most exciting fine dining destinations in the Cotswolds.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nAs a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in keeping our rooms and cottages immaculate, ensuring they are cleaned to the highest standard and ready for guest arrivals. You will also support the upkeep of our public areas, including the Terrace, car parks, driveways, and outdoor spaces, making sure they remain tidy, welcoming, and free from debris. From preparing cushions and parasols for guests on sunny days to restocking fireplaces and wood supplies in colder months, your work will help create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere throughout the year.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES\nEnsuring rooms are cleaned to the highest standard.\n\nMaintaining public areas, including the Terrace, and reporting any damages or issues with lighting, pathways, furniture, cushions, or parasols.\n\nKeeping car parks, driveways, and outside areas tidy and free from debris.\n\nManaging external bins and ensuring they are put out for collection on designated days.\n\nPreparing outdoor areas with cushions and parasols for guests, weather permitting.\n\nAssisting with general tidiness of internal pub areas.\n\nRemoving linen and towels from rooms/cottages after guest departure and delivering fresh packs before arrivals.\n\nDelivering and collecting laundry and consumable supplies from local suppliers.\n\nClearing and restocking fireplaces and wood supplies.\n\nPerforming cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.\n\nEnsuring stock cupboards are fully stocked with amenities and consumables.\n\nReplacing external and internal lightbulbs as required.\n\nCompleting changeover days efficiently.\n\nProtecting equipment and reporting any inadequacies.\n\nNotifying your Manager of damages or issues across the property.\n\nAssisting colleagues with flexibility, supporting other departments when required.\n\nUsing company vehicles responsibly across the estate, including public road.\n\nResponsible for maintaining company vehicles on a daily basis, including cleaning, refuelling and safety checks.\n\nSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS\nPrevious experience in Housekeeping is preferred.\n\nAttention to Detail: Ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to a high standard.\n\nTime Management: Complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes, especially during busy periods.\n\nPhysical Stamina: Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.\n\nFlexibility & Versatility: Support various departments as needed, including cleaning, basic kitchen duties, or helping with guest services.\n\nReliability & Discretion: Maintain confidentiality, especially when working in guest areas, and be a dependable team member.\n\nPERKS AND
