They ensure every stay feels seamless and deeply connected to the essence of Daylesford: living natural luxury, genuine care, and a refined yet instinctive sense of hospitality.\nAs Guest Experience Host, you will be the welcoming face of The Cottages. Greeting guests with warmth and calm, assisting with check-ins, coordinating requests, and ensuring every stay runs effortlessly from arrival to departure. Working closely with the Concierge and Guest Experience Manager, you will play a vital part in creating memorable experiences that reflect the charm, craftsmanship, and authenticity of Daylesford and the wider Bamford Collection.\nYou are the heart of every guest stay; the first smile, the reassuring voice, and the presence that ensures everything runs smoothly. Your warmth, intuition, and attention to detail will help define how guests experience The Cottages, shaping memories that reflect the timeless beauty and gentle pace of Daylesford living.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for someone who is naturally warm, highly organised, and passionate about creating meaningful connections through service.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport Reception/Concierge with guest check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate records and accounts.\n\nAct as the primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay, managing requests and bespoke itineraries.\n\nWelcome guests on arrival, assist with luggage, and provide accommodation and local area orientation.\n\nMaintain regular contact with resident guests, recognising VIPs and special occasions.\n\nHandle guest queries and complaints professionally, escalating where necessary.\n\nPromote activities, events, and offerings across The Bamford Collection.\n\nUphold The Wild Rabbit service standards with strong attention to detail.\n\nEnsure all work areas, arrival points, and company vehicles are clean and well maintained.\n\nAccurately log guest issues on the daily manifest and maintain clear communication across teams.\n\nManage guest amenities such as bikes, wellington boots, and device chargers.\n\nSupport Front Office operations, including Reception/Concierge and Night Porter duties, as required.\n\nAssist with basic housekeeping tasks and minor maintenance when needed.\n\nSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS\nMust have held a UK Driver's License for at least 3 years.\n\nSupport colleagues proactively and contribute to a positive team environment.\n\nCommunicate respectfully and positively with all departments.\n\nBe reliable and punctual on shift\n\nShare knowledge about The Wild Rabbit, Daylesford and Bamford to help educate colleagues.\n\nMaintain professional appearance and immaculate presentation.\n\nComplete mandatory and legal training and attend development courses when requested.\n\nDemonstrate enthusiasm, positivity and pride in the workplace.\n\n*The on target earning potential for this role is £31,311.20 per annum based on a 40-hour contract - comprising a base salary of £26,811.20, plus a qualified estimate of £4,500 in gratuities and service charge. Please note that this role is an hourly rate and weekly paid.\nAbout gratuities and service charge:\nGratuities are paid on a pro rata basis.
