This is a working Management position. This job requires you to work with customers on a daily basis through numerous channels including, but not limited to, working the teller line, opening accounts, and dealing with customer complaints. This role will also be the backup branch manager any time the manager is out of the bank.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nAssist in managing the daily running of the branch including all Banker functions such as paying and receiving teller transactions, opening new accounts, making referrals of BancFirst products and all other Universal Banker duties.\nAssist in managingthe customer service level of the Universal Bankers and Tellers. Extraordinary customer service will be required of each employee at all times.\nPerform all functions of the Universal Banker such as paying and receiving teller transactions, opening new accountsof all kinds, and making referrals of BancFirst products.\nAssist in coaching, counseling and disciplinary action of branch personnel.\nBe a leading compliancecoach within the branch with the goal to increase sales productionwhile remaining compliant.\nAssist in the performance of the monthly score card performance reviews with each employee.\nResponsible for giving compliance updates in weekly operational meetings.\nResponsible for performing audits, as they relate to federal, state, and bank policies, procedures and regulations including all cash audits, quarterly negotiable items audits and maintaining branch audit books. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.\nREQUIREMENTS\nKnowledge of sales tools and presentation.\nAbility to motivate staff and assist in maintaining goals.\nKnowledge of daily bank operations, including security issues.\nKeen knowledge of federal, state, and bank policy, procedure and regulations as these relate to the Universal Banker duties.\nOutstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.\nProficient in opening new accounts, servicing accounts, and working in a tellerposition.\nInteract with other offices and departments for accurate resolutions to problemsand errors, in addition to the timely completion of job tasks.\nFlexible and able to work additional hours when needed.\nProficient in Horizon, Horizon Teller, IDO, and Connections.\nCritical thinking, must work well under stress and deadlines.\nMust demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor at all times.\nDemonstrate good attendance and punctuality.\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nSuccessful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank products and services.\nBilingual (Spanish) a plus.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nConstant use of computer screens and reading of reports.\nAbility to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, and scanner.\nRegularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear.\nIntermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials.\nAbility to lift and/or move and carry up to 25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags).\nHometown service, statewide strength.BancFirst is committed to investing in the future of Oklahoma communities.
