Whether in the field or the office, our teams are united by a shared commitment to innovation, safety, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.\nRole Description\nIn this role, you will be responsible for conducting safety audits, training staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has prior experience in construction safety, strong analytical skills, and a passion for cultivating a safe work\nenvironment.\nOHS Manager Responsibilities:\nConduct Safety Inspections: Perform regular and thorough site inspections to assess safety hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and\nindustry standards.\nSafety Plan Development: Assist in developing and updating safety programs, policies, and procedures tailored to specific projects.\nIncident Investigation: Lead investigations of accidents, near-misses, and unsafe working conditions. Compile detailed reports, identify root causes, and recommend\ncorrective and preventative measures.\nSafety Training: Facilitate safety training programs for employees and subcontractors on various topics such as hazard recognition, excavations, confined spaces, fall \nprotection, PPE, and emergency procedures. Ensure employees are well-informed about \nsafety protocols.\nCompliance Monitoring: Ensure that all workers, including subcontractors, adhere to safety regulations. Review Activity Hazard Analysis (AHAs), safety data sheets (SDS),\nand risk assessments.\nRegulatory Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations and ensure the company remains compliant.\nPPE and Equipment Audits: Ensure that personal protective equipment is properly used and maintained. Conduct periodic audits to verify that safety equipment is available and\nin good condition.\nSafety Recordkeeping: Maintain up-to-date documentation of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and safety-related statistics.\nPromote Safety Culture: Work closely with the project management team to foster a strong culture of safety and provide guidance on best practices. Participate in and lead\nsafety meetings and toolbox talks.\nEmergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
