The role requires advanced knowledge of heavy civil construction, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to solving problems. The Superintendent will be responsible for project execution, safety, scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.\nSuperintendent Responsibilities:\nOversee all daily site operations and ensure project milestones are met.\nCoordinate and schedule crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.\nReview and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.\nEnsure work is performed according to design, budget, schedule, and quality standards.\nMonitor safety compliance and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.\nCommunicate daily with project managers regarding progress, issues, and solutions.\nLead and mentor foremen and field crews to promote productivity and accountability.\nManage inspections, testing, and documentation required by municipalities or clients.\nIdentify potential risks or delays and implement corrective actions.\nMaintain accurate records including daily reports, timecards, and material logs.\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience in site development or heavy civil construction.\n3+ years of supervisory experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role.\nProficient in reading and interpreting civil plans and construction documents.\nStrong understanding of grading, utility installation, stormwater management, and paving.\nKnowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations.\nAbility to lead and motivate field personnel effectively.\nExcellent organizational, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nCompetency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, project management software).\nValid driver’s license.\nOSHA 30 Certification strongly preferred.\nWhy join us:\nCompetitive Salary & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary along with health insurance, retirement plans, and performance bonuses.\nCareer Advancement: We are committed to the growth and development of our employees, offering training programs and opportunities for career progression.\nChallenging and Rewarding Work: Lead diverse and impactful projects that challenge your skills and expertise.\nState-of-the-Art Equipment: Work with the latest machinery and technology in the construction industry.\nStrong Safety Culture: We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees with regular training and strict safety protocols.\nWhat we offer:\n Health, Life, Dental and Vision Insurance\n401(k) Plan -
