Ready to build what's next? #JoinTheBand\nAs a Sr. Product Manager (Voice Origination and Numbers) at Bandwidth, you will be responsible for the P&L, overall growth, and profitability of assigned product(s). This role includes Vendor Management, Sales Support, and Customer interaction. The Product Manager's responsibilities focus on the operational aspects of the assigned product line including (but not limited to) a view on network strategy and enhancements, pricing, billing, and compliance.\nWhat You'll Do:\nCreate and own the strategic direction of the Inbound and Numbers products to maintain and grow Bandwidth's market position as inbound voice continues to evolve.\nActively manage origination services and Numbers.\nManage Tandem routing as a network function and product.\nBecome the Bandwidth SME on assigned products.\nMake informed decisions on product evolution based on metrics collected with each customer interaction.\nProvide strategic vision and guidance to Bandwidth Segment and Platform teams on product, market, network, and customer trends and the development required to become and maintain status as a market leader.\nActively work with and manage vendors and carriers in the ecosystem, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and contractual requirements.\nBalance costs between on-net and vendors to create the appropriate blend of costs and level of service to provide a market-leading product with high margins.\nWork with Regulatory on issues with the FCC and State PUCs related to Inbound and Numbers.\nDevelop deep relationships with key carriers and vendors.\nSupport Sales in new customer acquisition and customer retention activities to profitably grow margin dollars and top-line revenue.\nDevelop relationships with key customers.\nSupport all existing internal processes; improve where possible through process innovation or development across all internal platforms.\nMeet corporate financial targets for Margin and Revenue budget; be able to explain the drivers behind past and future performance.\nProvide pricing guidance to the Deal Desk and Strategic Pricing and support them in nonstandard and bundled deal reviews.\nCreate and present executive-level presentations as needed.\nOperate as a key member of a cross-discipline team composed of Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering.\nUp to 25% travel may be involved.\nWhat You Need:\nBachelor's degree in a related field with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in telecommunications.\n10-15 years of voice product management experience.\nHistory with US-based local, SIP-based telecom networks; international experience a plus.\nMust work well in dynamic environments where direction may pivot multiple times in a month based on market feedback.\nKnowledge of telecom services and associated protocols (SIP, RTP, G.7xx, SMPP, WebRTC) helpful for success in this role.\nUnderstanding of North American Numbering Plan Administrator (NANPA), FCC, and state PUC roles in managing the availability, utilization, and operator access to North American numbering resources highly desirable. Knowledge of Canadian number management very helpful in this role.\nUnderstanding of FCC/state porting rules.\nHistorical knowledge of TDM networks is a plus.\nUp-to-date understanding of the current regulatory environment and pending actions.\nExperience developing financial models to assess the profitability of new business opportunities.\nDynamic speaker able to address internal and external audiences.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrategic thinker.\nExperience with lifecycle management of existing products and launching new products, particularly in the communications industry, with demonstrated keen UX awareness.\nVendor management and negotiation skills.\nStrong initiative and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of an organization.\nThe Whole Person Promise:\nAt Bandwidth, we’re pretty proud of our corporate culture, which is rooted in our “Whole Person Promise.” We promise all employees that they can have meaningful work AND a full life, and we provide a work environment geared toward enriching your body, mind, and spirit.
