You’ll be the main point of contact for our guests overnight, balancing great guest service with accurate records, transactions and nightly audits.\nWorking independently, you’ll spot and resolve discrepancies, keep overnight operations running smoothly and ensure everything is ready for the Front Desk team the next day. This is a great fit for someone with a keen eye for detail, good judgement and a natural ability to solve problems and think on their feet, while keeping the guest experience at the forefront.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nWelcome late arrivals and assist with check-ins, check-outs, reservations and guest requests\nRespond to guest needs and calls in a friendly and professional manner\nComplete nightly audits, balance transactions and investigate and resolve discrepancies\nReview room charges, payments, deposits and refunds to ensure they have been processed accurately\nMaintain accurate daily records and prepare reports for the Accounts team\nIdentify errors or inconsistencies and follow them through to resolution\nSupport guest safety and hotel security throughout the night\nRespond calmly to unexpected situations, using good judgement to resolve issues or escalate when needed\nComplete system updates and basic administrative tasks\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\nFriendly, dependable and self-motivated, with a strong guest service focus\nStrong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and transactions\nGood analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to spot discrepancies and find solutions\nComfortable working independently overnight and making sound decisions when needed\nCalm and resourceful if unexpected situations arise, with good judgement around when to take action and when to escalate\nStrong communication skills and a professional approach\nGood data entry and computer skills\nPrevious front desk, night audit, accounting or customer service experience is an asset, but not essential\nFlexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays\n\nIf you’re detail-oriented, guest-focused and enjoy working independently, we’d love to hear from you.
