Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Fraud & Claims Technology team is seeking an experienced, hands-on Java Feature Lead to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade applications while providing technical leadership through the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud technologies, and Agile delivery, along with proven design, mentoring, and delivery leadership skills. The Feature Lead is expected to remain actively involved in coding, debugging, code reviews, solution design, and production troubleshooting.\nResponsibilities:\nDesigns, develops and is accountable for feature delivery\nApplies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality\nEnsures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt\nGuides the team on work breakdown and execution\nWorks with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria\nPlays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team\nGuides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)\nLead the design, development, and delivery of Java-based applications and services\nRemain hands-on with development and independently analyze, design, code, debug, review, and troubleshoot production-grade applications\nArchitect scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices solutions\nRequired Qualifications:\n7+ years of Java development experience with 2+ years leading development teams or providing hands-on technical leadership\nRecent hands-on Java/Spring Boot experience and be capable of contributing directly to complex development and troubleshooting activities, in addition to leading the team\nStrong hands-on Java development experience;
