Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Fraud & Claims Technology team is seeking an experienced, hands-on Java Developer to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices, along with the ability to lead technical solutions and mentor team members.\nResponsibilities:\nCodes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements\nDesigns, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained\nMentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack\nExecutes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle\nPerforms spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas\nAutomates manual release activities\nDesigns, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)\nBuild and support scalable, high-performance microservices and APIs\nLead technical design discussions and architecture reviews\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade Java applications\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of Java development experience, Java 17+ preferred, with experience in Java 8/11/17+ environments\nRecent hands-on Java/Spring Boot experience and be capable of contributing directly to complex development and troubleshooting activities\nSpring Boot and Spring Framework;
