Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.\nPosition Summary:\nWe are seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support business-critical applications and services built on the Quartz and legacy Python platform. The role involves developing Python-based applications, automation frameworks, APIs, data-processing solutions, and scheduled workflows that support trading, risk, operations, reporting, and analytics functions. The successful candidate will partner closely with business users, architects, operations teams, and fellow developers to deliver scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions while contributing to platform modernization initiatives and cloud-native adoption efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting index trading, index calculation platforms, or quantitative/index-based investment products within a front-office trading environment.
