Join us!\nJob Description:\nThis job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.\nResponsibilities:\nCodes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements\n\nUtilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements\n\nPerforms Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities\n\nContributes to story refinement and definition of requirements\n\nParticipates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle\n\nContributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause\n\nPerforms spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n8+ years of relevant work experience\n\nProficiency in programming language(s) required for the role\n\nMinimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in the banking industry.\n\nMust have application development experience in Java or Python, RDBMS, SQL, Quartz experience is a big plus\n\nMust have experience participating in large or complex projects\n\nExcellent verbal and written communications, comfortable working with different levels of management, high attention to detail\n\nSense of ownership and personally vested in success of the project\n\nKnowledge of Financial products including listed, bilateral and Cleared products is required. Risk knowledge is a plus.\n\nMust be proficient in data management to include strong data analytical capability\n\nMust be able to engage and leverage teams and business partners to efficiently deliver business solutions\n\nMust have excellent organizational skills and be able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet extremely tight deadlines\n\nDesired Qualifications\nIn depth understanding of core Java API’s (collections, concurrency, nio etc) - Must have extensive understanding and proven industrial experience with multithreaded systems, working knowledge of the Java garbage collector, familiar with low latency IO\n\nAI First approach\n\nEnthusiastic, passionate engineer able to work closely with project teams in a multi-faceted role\n\nAutomation first mindset across the software development lifecycle, particularly around shift-left testing\n\nDevelopment practices - Use test driven development and be familiar with UML and OO design.
